Reigns Supreme

Reigns Supreme

A Poem by Dream Weaver

A nervous laughter bellows within. Psychologically void of any real concept. Breathing but, barely. Seeing, but not believing. Can you be truly gullible yet still suspicious?

What to do and how to do it? Lash out or keep silent, flee or persist? Life in all its self righteous brilliance casts a deceptive shadow that most certainly envelopes and conceals what truly is unfeasible.

Knowledge is absolute, yet without compassion knowledge becomes fatigued and delusional. Unity makes many, division makes far less for the ultimate moral achievement. What achievement you ask? A state of blissful being that reigns supreme…

An achievement of the utmost urgency, what’s important to you may not be important to me. So…We meet in the middle somewhere and cover  what needs to be done before life as we know it becomes nothing more than an after thought of what was and what could have been?

I love the way you start out the poem and the last line is a true hitter and sums up the who poem. Knowledge is absolute but it does hold us, love us, make us feel alive. It is just a tool to make money. The last stanza really makes a loud statement.

That picture. My god, that picture. That picture! Sooo majestic. And this tongue twisting thoughts of reason. You are asking us to think and feel and question, which is true enlightenment. I think it is more or less our perception of bliss that makes it eluding. But I enjoyed your rant to the masses, rousing our thinking abilities and stirring up the emotions within us. Powerful and persuasive.

Damn Socrates....Its a little early to make me think like this. I loved the questions and the fact that no one answer will probably do. Great piece my friend.
