Closure

Closure

A Poem by Dream Weaver

Can I give you all that you want, Can I give you

all that you need, will you accept  me for who I am

a dusty tramp a tumbleweed.

I am but a poor man, with a heart as big as an

ocean, all I have is a roving eye, but to you I

would pledge my devotion.

Sometimes I say things I don’t mean, it all

depends on your point of view, could you ever

really love someone the way that I do you.

Can you feel the sadness now, as I stand alone

in the rain, how can I, begin to try, precious

memories still remain.

Can I give you closure and let you trust again,

or am I really too far gone with my head in the

lion’s den.

I know you don’t want to hear it, because you

heard it all before, I apologize deeply, given that

I’m a lousy stinking w***e.

This is so sincere and it makes my heart hurt reading this. second chances can be a wonderful thing but they can also be no so good as well depends on the person and situation. The longing in this poem almost has a desperate tone to it. You have wrote yet another emotional poem that all can feel.

I love the structure and the rhythm to it and the boldness of the words

Lousy, stinking w***e...well, I wouldn't go that
far LOL! I think we all need some type of closure
when it comes to think of the heart and mind...it
settles the soul..

I am always taken by surprise at the depth of emotion you call in me with your beautiful words. I luv how you have arainged your stanza's here and it is beautiful in form but again what moves me the most is how I am forever changed after time spent in your writes. They are beautiful and drip in meaning that only an author knows giving us the freedom to guess and in this owning just a piece of these beautiful words....-DannyLynne

This is special, you do not trip up at all in the structure and the rhyme.
Yet you also keep the story straight without jumping (which i do haha)
The best bit about this poem though, which in my oppinion is the purpose of poetry.
Is the emotion that is portrayed and how your readers are now feeling empathy for this person and remembering similar experiences.
