A Poem by Dream Weaver

Thunder claps from a mountain high

lightning flashes across the sky.

Dreams of sadness flowing all around

broken pieces of heartache fall to the

ground.

Damning delusions soil my soul as my

sense of awareness loses control.

What dreams are these so deeply

embedded, ill fated and meaningless

sincerely shredded.

I shiver and shake as I try to wake

bruised and bitten by a rattlesnake.

Naked and motionless I manage to

scream, holy s**t it was just a dream.

Damn you, Silent Scream! I'm so glad I didn't glance at the length of the poem first. Short, sweet - effective! And the photo definitely added to it's appeal! Thank you!!
