Painfully ShyA Poem by Dream WeaverHow can I say I love you, when you don’t even know I exist, I’m so painfully shy each time I try I tremble and desist. Your elegance is that of graceful swan, your touch is that of a lacey chiffon, the closer I get the farther away you seem, that’s when I lose all self esteem.
Why would you want someone like me, who can’t find the courage to make you see, see that I love you for who you are, the most beautiful woman I’m silent and subpar. All I have to offer is my eternal devotion, if given the chance of this preconceived notion. I would love you, hold you till all the stars fall from the sky, I guess we’ll never know, I’m bewildered and beleaguered, oh so painfully shy…
