Release Me

A Poem by Dream Weaver

Living up to capabilities in which the very fiber has stretched me to the limit.

Heartbeat irregular vital organs shut down, prepared for the end yet the end cannot be found.

Eyes painfully squint as I struggle to breathe, wanting to fight back and withdraw from this partially obscured premonition.

Not one iota of passion, love a distant memory lost hindered by psychosis emotionless and frigid.

Sacrificial soul inadequate for it no longer belongs to me. Aspirations a cruel jest within this ancedote.

O’ wicked world, one favor I shall ask of thee, grant me the fruit of my demise release me from this facade called my life. My dreams lay lifeless unnoted discarded.

this poem sums up how I felt in the beginning of this year, but for me I have learned that the love I feel for this person is a part of who I am and that I have to roll with the tides of emotions that rage against me from time to time. this poem makes me feel sad, and lonely.

Release me of this shell of my former self..this is poignant..I have seen first hand the need for release from the pains of this life..wonderfully expressive piece..

there does come a point where the ails overtake the person and death becomes hope~death becomes a lover to strive for~
you relate this sharply~ poignantly through the wail once can almost hear resounding along each line~

Release to a better world is sometimes the only answer also comfort for those watching in pain. Fate will handle all.
Best yet Joe...unfortunate of how it came about. My heart bleeds for you.
