ONCE

ONCE

A Poem by Dream Weaver

Once is not enough to hold you to feel you

to whisper all I need to.

Once comes and goes so quickly to fully

love all there is about you.

Once is a agonizing tease to only make

love to you once and ponder.

Once is never knowing if we would ever

be compatible and happy.

Once not nearly enough to laugh cry and

share with each other.

Once it’s over, it’s over…

Haha, nice shoes. I couldn't walk in em, but they're still cute. I'd break my ankle. Lol. Anywhoo.

This is a great poem, it holds many truthful words and I like that. It speaks, and I love it, but I love most of your work anyhow don't I?? (:

To find that one true love, a soul-mate, is a difficult thing. I can feel the deep sentiments within here. the longing. You wrote this very effectively. nicely done...

To once find that love is a rarity, and you captured that depth here.
In the ending line....is anything really over...makes you wonder
sometimes. You need to learn to add commas and separate your
words, other than that a great poem.

These are some deep feeling expressed here and I agree with the poem completely. Once is never enough if you deeply soulfully love someone with all that you are and all that "you" could be. Deep love ever dies. Trust me I know this from experience. Once you find that love you know the difference between a deep, unconditional love and the love that we can feel but never does it become part of us. you have ended this on a slightly sad note but the whole poem is does with great care.
