God and Country

For God and country I’ve heard some say     

to fight for freedom is the American way.

 

God and freedoms come at such a high

price from blood stained shores to human

sacrifice.

 

Pastor’s preacher’s deacon’s and priest all

come to crow about this biblical beast.

 

In the name of God and all which is right to

carry the torch for this misguided plight.

 

Who is the author of this heavenly book

is it God or man that made the earth shook.

 

Blessed be those who stick to the plan

Spewing nonsense it’s not God it’s man.
