Isle of despair

Isle of despair

A Poem by Dream Weaver

Marooned on this island of
desolation and despair, a
message in a bottle tossed
into the sea salty air.

Hunger and lonliness blister
my sundried lips, my mind
creates mirages of passing
ships.

Ahoy there matey can you
rescue me, am I doomed
to this island for eternity.
My skin like leather and me
bones do ache have mercy
on my soul for heavens
sake.

Mutinous scum has made
it clear, commandeered my
vessel and left me here.
shiver me timbers may my
ghost haunt their dreams
aboard my ship I hope to hear
their screams!

These are my favorite lines. Great write. (:

Would you mind looking at my work? There isn't much, but I haven't added all my poems.
