A Poem by Dream Weaver

Your name is merely a mark to identify you after you're deceased from this synthetic being we call life. Achievements, goals and aspirations are what people expect of you and yet I expect nothing from anyone, but what their heart truly desires.

It's amazing how we complicate our lives with self indulgent asinine bunkum and have the attention span that of circumcised gnat about to be swatted. We follow the leader so pick your poison, political or religious both are prevaricator's of what they speak and seek.

Agreed Ms. Cherrie... :)
Very true. If you read Ernest Becker's Denial of Death, it is all a character lie, everything we do in society is meant to manage our terror if death by creating the illusion of heroism. Heroism in business, in politics, and of course the ultimate...religion. Religion offers immortality of the soul.

You state it very clearly. You want people only to be themselves, authentic rather than synthetic.
