If only my heart and mind could embrace each other for once in my life, I could be all you ever wanted…all you ever needed.

 

If only words could mend broken promises quicker than broken fences, I would be there for you to repair all of your unfulfilled hopes and dreams.

This piece gives voice to an unnamed empty place within me, and the line, "If only my heart and mind could embrace each other for once in my life..." speaks volumes to me of my own struggles to unite the two places within me. I so enjoyed this write.
