Bittersweet RedemptionA Poem by Dream WeaverSweet redemption might I get just a taste, I’m so tired of living in this toxic waste.
Do me a favor let me shorten my breath, for this isolation is far worse than death?
I’ve lost my health my job my wife, forced to live this bohemian life.
Sweet redemption could you caress my soul, give me the pieces that once made me whole.
Lift this cloud so I might see, a better tomorrow embraced within me.
Poignancy my friend for far too long, extinguish this fire from my torch song.
What is a man whose life is misleading, when all hope is gone and can’t stop the bleeding?
Bittersweet redemption is all that I hear, fading into oblivion the final frontier. © 2013 Dream WeaverReviews
