Try To Stop MeA Poem by J.R.H.American Hip-Hop.
They'll try to stop me
Probably try to offer me a whole lot of money which I find kind of funny because the truth can not be bought it can only be fought for I know - it's all I ever sought for ever since I was brought to my first day of school where I was treated like a fool because instead of trying to be cool I was a thinker and I was a dreamer, but now I'm a teacher here to teach you the dire lessons of the higher heavens of which you ignore with no more amor you existentialist nihilistic pessimistic socialists founding father hating, under appreciating, slaves waiting for a raise they're never going to pay and they tell you to got to the left and they tell you to go to the right and blindly you always go without ever learning - going forward is the only way into the light. Meanwhile, the rich just sit in silence while the poor react in violence and all the tyrants hide behind the sounds of their sirens and It's f*****g disgusting this corruption erupting from shinning sea to shinning sea as our lady liberty moans oppression throughout this recession and our kids slit their wrists and wish they didn't exist but despite all of this you - you let it persist because as it all happens you remain trapped in front of your televisions where the mirrors and screens paint your portraits of reality conforming all your dreams and fettering you to fallacy while I'm on my hands and knees begging you awake from this fantasy deafening you from the screams trying to break free from this tragedy. © 2017 J.R.H.Reviews
