There can be no revolution, without the enlightenment of romanticism. Since the beginning of time, a romantic, has been behind every great revolution. So, it is past time, we rise again.
i think i am a romantic from the 60's with the idealism that things would change for the better, that there actually could be peace and love...
and now i wish i were much younger and could do much more to revolutionize than just write poems about it...
there is so much apathy now...we need some young idealists to start a fire of change.
really got into this poem...a reflection of me in my youth.

Now days, the romantics aren't traveling in large groups having sex, taking drugs, and speaking their mind. Now days, we walk alone. The machine is too large, too engraved.
A romantic, however, must be aware of the darkness, in order to remain in the light.
Your generation did not have the internet. The internet, honestly, is our last potential savior. Our only chance to connect with the rest of the world and reveal the truths that have been buried beneath the secret societies of the rich and famous.
Beside, if you never give up, revolution is inevitable.
Change is the result of the choice we make when we risk taking that chance however change comes from within as ourselves individually and the ruling and governing bodies are no different change comes one person at a time Jesus was one person that changed the hearts and lives of his followers and the change continues today though slowed from societal and media influence

However, if you have ever read 1984, the protagonist never accomplishes anything. I hated that until I undesrstood. George Orwell went to Russia interested in communism until he learned more about it. 1984 was attempt to warn the world of what the end goal of communism is - complete control. This means they acquire power until revolution is, or is near impossible. When he wrote this communism had already planted itself all over the world, and now it's only stronger. Change needs to happen before it can't happen.

Society and news media seems to control an overwhelming amount of people but as long as we have individual passion it will be impossible for any government to control perhaps this is why the reformation of the church era became necessary to prevent dominance over our lives but you have a righteous idea in your poem

My god is in my heart. Not a church. Revolution is Individual passion possessed by the romantic who chooses to live and die by it which is what this poem is about. And certainly with individual passion revolution always stands a chance, but how many people have to die before it happens? Lastly, I believe this world is a lot worse off than you think.

God, to me, is not separate entity but an intertwined force of nature. God, to me, does not judge, but is rather, a perpetually accepting force of nature. It is the good 'energy' of the universe. Everything thing that makes you full. Evil is everything that makes you empty because it is the 'bad' energy of the universe, or in other words, evil is the void of God, of good energy, therefore it must destroy good to exist. We are currently living through and waiting for some separate entity to rise as your savior will do no justice. People must use God, the good energy within themselves, to rise against evil, because the world WILL turn to ash if not.

The choice is for each individual and the truths in life we choose to accept are learned early on but I shall pray for you anyway may God bless your life

Dreams are a gateway to the afterlife and I have learned much from them. My god is good energy and dying with a good soul will be enough for me. My god does not demand, but loves unconditionally. Evil will create a hell for themselves in the afterlive, without God or satan, because that's who they are on the inside, a burning pit. Me, I'm pretty confident in my moral integrity. By the way, Jesus was not a Christian. He did not write the bible. That came after Jesus. Jesus was an alchemist and or qabalist. Youre church uses him for control. Your version of hell was invented by a saint in a prison cell and then added, historically speaking.
I like the poetry that asked questions. This poem does.
"It, however, forever
remains dire that we,
drown now, with haste
the trickery of that skeptic
with the majesty of faith
self-resurrected"
Funny how the world had changed. Once world was aiming at peace, love and better world. Your poem open the door to long conversation with more questions than answers. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

The framework of our government has been built to keep 'individuals' down. The individual serves the state. The state doesn't serve the individual anymore. Go to a meeting for troubled youth, a majority of them will be artists and thinkers.
