PRACTICE

PRACTICE

A Poem by JRC Talberg

Done and over, the past is in the past
Looking over me, as I return home
In the warriors caravan, I return at last
From the caravan of wandering men, I alone roam.

It is almost over, so soon I can rest
So soon will quiet sleep take my head
With dreams full of memories, lest
In this late hour, memories be dead
