Marathon Runner [Tentative]

Marathon Runner [Tentative]

A Poem by JOe
"

This is the first song I've written in over a year. I really like it and it means a lot. That is all. I plan on using it for my band.

"
You should see your face
When you're getting everything you wanted
You should see how you run away
When you can finally have it all

You look so beautiful
When you are fulfilled
Why do you run from it?
It's so terrible
     To watch you slip away!

Dream, and dream while you're right in front of me
See everything that you want this to be
I'll try my hardest but I can't read your mind
And I can't imagine why the hell you run

Run, run from what you want
Because what you want makes you scared
Never having what you need, you got so used to it
You will never have to love!

I love this! The situation it describes as well as the emotion is completely relevant to today's world in some cases. Really good and really simple. Like :)
