THOSE EYESA Poem by Joseph B ClipperSHE HAD A FACE THAT WAS NOT HARD TO REMEMBER OR WAS THAT EASY TO FORGET SHE HAD A TOUCH THAT WAS COLD AS DECEMBER AND A KISS JUST AS WET GOD HAD PRESSED HIS THUMBS IN HER FACE THAT KIND OF DEPRESSION IS HARD TO ERASE SO TO EVEN A LOCAL IT SHOULD COME AS NO SURPRISE WHEN THE ICE CAVED IN IT CREATED THOSE EYES HER HAIR WAS NATURAL SUNSET RED OR WAS THAT BLEACH BLOND AND DYED CAUSE MEN ARE LIKE A ROLL AWAY BED SO BABY PACK UP YOUR BAGS AND SLIDE SHE HAD EYES LIKE RAZOR BLADES IN SUNLIGHT LIKE BLACK HOLES THAT LEAVE YOU COLD BUT SHE FEELS SO GOOD UNDER MOONLIGHT SHE PUTS A HOWLING IN MY SOUL CIRCA 1980 FOR TINA
