BEDOUIN

BEDOUIN

A Poem by Joseph B Clipper

the one place for me is the open road

like seeing a painting from the canvas

i'm following the rain to the bow

and then you my lovely complication

i'd turn in my sneakers for shoes

for as much as i can i love you

bedouins cant help but look to the wind

every root we lay we tear up again

from 1987
