Through Your Eyes.

Through Your Eyes.

A Poem by JohnL

THROUGH YOUR EYES I CAN SEE INTO MY SOUL

Through all of time, you follow me with eyes of love
Your thought revealed,
Eyes which, no longer young, reveal the love
I share and give to you.
Can you see that which is deep within me?
See the love I hold just for you? Walk with me,
Into the golden time
My love, my all, my
Soul-mate

Tenderly, you look at me; I gaze
Youthful again, pupil-reflected in your eyes
Each time, looking,
I see my love
Captured forever then, deeper, catch . . . . hold . . .
Sight of my love within; how does one ‘see’ love?
I cannot say, neither can explain my vision,
My innermost me, but it is there, in your eyes,
Soul-love.

This is such a beautifully moving, tenderly profound poem that speaks deeply of love and devotion. What you express is a wonderful celebration of two hearts that have become one. Uplifting in every way.

Those are the words I hear my father say to Mommy... I see his love and I know that their 49 years together has been a "golden time"

This is incredible!
