The Samaritan

The Samaritan

A Poem by JohnL

Samaritan

Hey there!

Don’t pass by on the other side.

Aren’t you a Samaritan?

Hear the world’s cries

Help us!

Short and sweet, John! Out of the mouths of babes and bankers?

Thanks for writing. I've been very busy doing a really complex translation so I haven't been writing my own stuff and seem to be out of touch with most online ventures!
But I live in hope that I'll have some time and inspiration before long!

You live on the Wirral, don't you? I visit friends in Pensby Road, Heswall as often as funds allow (which is not often enough). Whereabouts do you live? I spent the first 17 years of my life in North Wales, so in Heswall I'm really near home, especially after they built that Dee bridge! I'll be back. Take care!

Too many so-called Samaritans give lip service and nothing else.

We do pass to the other side, I admit I do , we all do, its sometimes hard to handle our privat pains, and we left with no powers or motivation or energy to deal with the world problems, I know its not like how it should be, but please tell me thats not the true. I wish that I had more time and energy to help , I really sorry... thats a perfect poem, just short as it should be, a shut in the Dark , will anyone help? .... you always so optimistic, I am sure you belive so , thanks for your thought
Shalom Yossi
