[Coyote Poetry]

Peace is the forgotten words. It seem war is part of the USA. We replaced England as the overbearing superpower trying to control all things. The chart show many of the wars. USA had been involved in many internal struggles. Cuba, Panama, Iran to name a few. We put leaders in and the people of the country took them out. I pray for peace for all people. Thank you for sharing the outstanding poetry and thoughts.

Thank you for the comments and review. When you go to the actual list of armed conflics the USA has bee involved in both internally and externally it makes me question the "peace loving" front we put on as a nation. Peace is certainly and elusive ideal!

I understand this is a companion piece for your other poem titled, "Wouldn't It Be Lovely-Wouldn't It Be Nice" and to compare the two I am able to get the cold hard facts of war in this one more quickly as it is "more in my face", but I prefer the other as it gives me more insight into man's philosophy of battle.
The lay-out is easy to follow and quite impressive!!! I really like the peace sign - so Hippie, flower child like - makes me wish I was at Woodstock!

Another exceptional write with what seems to be your signature presentation - brief and to the point, but with a whole lot of message!!!!
