submerged

submerged

A Poem by Seven

counting body bags or

times that you make me smile

pulling planes out of mud or

driving for miles

thinking of five words of a song or

singing with you

listening to tunes or

falling through....

It's a security sensitive...

but I really enjoy this sail through.

I like the juxtaposition of the positive/negative images you portray. I'm completely clueless on what "security sensitive" means, though. It read a bit cumbersome compared to the rest of the poem, which sounded more something that someone would actually say aloud.

Wow... so few words but they say so much! It's like nothing matters to the speaker except spending time with the "you" of the poem. I like how the things that they do are so contrasting from something as terrible as counting dead bodies to making someone smile. The connection between the two people seems so strong. I liked this poem a lot!
