My Story, Your Story

My story and its chapters are not any different from any others

The foundations are alike

I've had ups and downs like any other who had it

I've had things that I loved disappear or taken 

I've made mistakes just like anyone else would

And from these mistakes, I've learned many things

In life, there are no for sure reasons

And no do-overs or repeats

Once it's done, it is done!

You must learn to fly step by step once you get wings

But just because of this story, my story

Isn't as exceptional nor as unique as I'd hoped it would be

That doesn't mean I'm not worthy to live 

I've gotten what I have earned

If you want your life to be accomplished and fulfilling

You have to believe in yourself

You have to believe that you can do anything and become anything

You are your own hero, your own story

Put yourself out there and be exciting and thrilling

Never be someone else!

Always Be you

The hero of your very own story

That'll amaze.

This is an amazing inspirational piece of writing! There are so many ways that it shines. First, to set things up, saying it’s OK to be ordinary. That’s where we all start out. Then, the way you gradually get to the point you’re making -- after taking your time getting the reader comfortable with where you’re coming from. This pacing is well done. I was lucky as a kid to be naturally effervescent, putting myself out there in lots of situations, so I gathered an amazing lifetime of memories. But lots of people are frozen in their self-consciousness, so you have good instincts in how to approach people who might feel this way. Such an uplifting message is always needed on t his website, becuz there are plenty of people feeling down or useless (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
