You can hear my heart beating

You say you see it dripping down my chin

But you can only see the crater through my chest that you ripped open

You filled it and seeded it with terror, deep inside of me but I'm not leaving

And I know that I must excel this trial or test

So what're you waiting for?

Pull it!

Ain't nobody gonna do it for you because you know you want to

PULL IT!

Don't hesitate, just do it just shoot!

When I said

I'd die for you and take a bullet for you

I.. I didn't intend

For you to be the one

Pulling the trigger

You stabbed me a hundred times

you acted like you were the one who was bleeding

And the worst part was

Everyone was tending to you

While I was the one bleeding to death

So yeah, maybe you should pull the f*****g trigger.

Wise saying of Maloom X.
The poem is elegant and classy.
My understanding- your heart beats(showing your emotions). People probably don't see those feelings, instead they worsen situations.someone makes you feel awful and terrified. Then, you don't quitand PULL THE TRIGGER. Someone acts as if dying but in reality, you are the one who's dying.
Excellent poem or rather lyrics.

I'm from the south and we have a saying: Brother, you know you ain't never lied.
Seen this same scenario many times, I bartended in six states for 18 years. Yup. Many a murderous moll mixing in with the masses. Well done.

Sometimes its best not to experience these things but to learn from them to avoid them.
Life is a book that we are still learning from, all the experiences and all of the new things we face with each chapter or page in life.

I think being on the other side of the bar made for a perfect observation deck, so to speak: I was not there to referee relationships, only to control the crowd. I told another author on this site, that I can promise you, that in my experience, there are way more good men then there are good women. It's just the bad men get more press.

Yea I agree with you, I haven't worked as a bartender but I worked in bars before so I understand where you are coming from.
You learn a lot from someone or anyone behind the bar on the stool.

Wow Joey! This is a powerful write. A bit scary and dark coming from you, but it is well done. Even though I know first hand about people who betray it never fails to shock me when I think that we all have a story of some one betraying us add them all up there are far too many people that lack integrity.
That makes me sad.

Sometime I like to write about what I feel or what I see, I guess there's only balance if we have both, betrayal and loyalty and other thing, sadly and ironically we cant have it all or we cant always have what we want.
It also makes me sad to see that some people behave like this, no integrity, no honor or respect, we live in a world that's going backwards instead of forward, people have forgot it all, and it hurts me to say and know this.
