Blood

The word "Family" isn't only in the blood, Some people that are around you in your life also have the right to be called "Family" whoever they are, they don't have too be related to you by blood.

It's the people that want you in their lives.

The ones that welcomed you into their lives and still hung on to you till this day.

The ones who accepted you for who you are.

The ones that know your mistakes and flaws but still stood by your side because they know the real you and it is only a phase and would stand by you to help you through it.

The ones who would give anything for you just take make you feel safe.

And they are the ones that would do anything to see you smile and happy and who will love YOU no matter what'r the odds and no matter what happens.

Because treasured friends are like family.

Family....
There are people who come and go. There are people who drift in and out. Then there are the people who stick with you through think and thin. Thee latter of these people, i am not so sure i would call them family but more of a strong bond which has formed betwern you and the other person/people. I get why people class these people as family though.
Again more of a comment rather than review.
Your words i am sure will resonate with many and the piece itself is very well put together.

This poem means allot to me because some family i haven't spoken to in years. and i have always had family problems. But i have some people in my life that are extremely close to me, and i would see then as family. Blood doesn't mean all that much at the end of the day.
It is care, and respect along with other things that create love and a bond that is like that of family.
