![]() BlackbirdsA Story by Joey NizzAnd here again i walk alone taking each step on this broken glass and stones I shiver and shake from the warm air cold No one insight I'm alone on my own With every mistake I made I dig this hole Through my very skin and bones Its hard to start over again Than why never have I changed blackbirds are in pursuit following me Their closing in they keep trying to swallow me The pain keeps coming in waves I keep digging out my grave am i actually getting back What i gave? As the daylight fades I keep sweating though these sheets I've made As i waste away Its trapping me inside the mistakes I've made well That's the price that i have to pay And once again I drop to the floor like i did before Please Stop watching and judging I'm coughing I'm sorry i cannot be more What i want and what i need are constantly at war Feeling like i fell in a well full of poison a rotten core My blood goes thin The fever like blades pins it stings I shall shake from the hell that this habit brings Let this sick one down The bells will ring Put the pennies on the eyes And let the dead man sing
