Helping Them Not

Helping Them Not

A Poem by JMoo

Helping Them Not

To look at societys miserable soul
on whos culture handouts take their toll
Making a useless and hapless society
that spends all its days avoiding sobriety

Surrounded by others clouded in smoke
the welfare state is such a joke
Wrapped in bleeding liberal excuses
Civil servants making people totally useless

Bereft of responsibility and purposeless,
Are drowned in this social security mess
A generation unable to think act or do,
relying entirely on me and you

They can one and all recite all of their rights,
As evenings are fuelled with booze and fights
Yet surrounded by such emotional fragility,
Few are used to taking on responsibility

Destroying identities hopes and dreams,
before many have reached even their teens
The handout state bursting its seams,
Is quietly destroying all of their dreams
