ElectionA Poem by J.M. WiseHypocrisy has run rampant over striped stars, The winners have won, those who have not want war. The protesting is outlandish, people have rights. If someone is wrong, that never means you should fight. But this is politics; it has no right or wrong. It has winners and losers, they all sing their songs. “Trump is a racist! Hillary is so crooked!” Everyone can search for their own places to look. Me on the other hand? I’m doing fantastic. The election results have made me ecstatic. Because something will change, for better or for worse. But I couldn’t wait for a presidential purse. “Hillary for president! “, many of you say. Equality and peace are what you want to stay. Yet when you meet someone who disagrees with you, You degrade them, you hate them, shower them with boos. You cannot just say one thing then change completely. You fight with everyone who dares dissent minutely. This brand of hatred I hold for you all alone. Hypocrisy is rampant; from you it has shone. © 2016 J.M. WiseAuthor's Note
