All She Ever Wanted

All She Ever Wanted

A Story by ♥ EmeraldHeart ♥

The world around her is so unclear.

It seems to have so much pain and agony, how can she possibly hide all of her emotions behind that smile. All the things she have been through, Death of her beloved grandmother, Broken heart from her very best friend who barely even speaks to her anymore, her birth father who has no absolute care in the world if she ends up dead to tomorrow, as long as she pretends she's his little girl and make his alcoholic name look good. There's nothing out there that can make the one who seems to smile all the time smile, except the thought of everything going right for once in her life. Yes, she has friends who love and support her, but sometimes, that's just not good enough. All this weight on her shoulders and no one would know it. Because she never tells what she's really feeling inside. The pain eats away at her on step at a time. There are people out there who make it even worse for her, the ones who mock her and the ones who criticize what she does. The evilness of these people must be stopped, but is there a visible cure for the pain that she feels for the extra baggage she must carry around all day-everyday, no. As this girl enters another world of the unknown next year, she'll find things to get harder and harder, if she doesn't go through the mysterious wood and find the unknown possibility of ever find her way home, her real home, where she feels welcome, she'll never stop until the deed, the only deed to feel free is done. She struggles with all of everything around her as she goes to seek the real cure, inside of the wood. She doesn't understand what changes there are around her, as she enters the dark, lonely wood, she finds peace, she sits beneath an old willow. As she drifts off into a dream, she finds her self at the exact same spot. But, it is no longer a wood, It's nothing but darkness, and a stump upon which she was sitting upon. She then looks around and finds an old bottle filled with air. But suddenly the it lights up with a bubbly liquid. In fear, she sets it down and runs, but as she runs, she seems to not be moving. It is all still the same distance away. She turns around, and with her palms dripping

with sweat reaches for the bottle.

her lips touch it, and she feels... different. She feels as if she is renewed. As if there's nothing in the world that can stop her. She suddenly awakes and realizes the cure she was looking for was in herself all along. All she had to do was look for it, and really want it. She returns for the ultimate test to go to the place where she was never felt wanted. When she arrived, she no longer felt as if she hadn't done before. She realizes that all along the cure was in herself the whole time. She then became uplifted, as if all the weight was gone, as if there was a shinning light surrounding her, she no longer hide behind a smile, she lived by a smile.
