My EuphoriaA Poem by Jeremy BakerMy euphoria will be short lived as I skirmish to maintain impetus to eclipse the reasons I once possessed to persist with living. No longer can I galvanise justification with extravagant claims of innocence or cause. Pretexts for life may just mimic Deepak Chopra’s mythical mantras, but alas, I have no need of eccentric charlatans whose ‘wisdom’ will meander through dirt-trodden paths to oppressive falsehood and trickery. Survival is my immediate concern - not my body but soul; my spiritual demise is imminent. My euphoria is almost over - just one final step to oblivion and joyous annulment of life and living. Those seeking explanations may take a number, and wait, and wait, and go on waiting, until tomorrow comes, if at all. © 2011 Jeremy BakerReviews
