Snippet *2

A Poem by John Morris
"

Britain's Rain. Filling in every crack stalling our day. Anyone see the comparision to the government (You may only get that if you live in England at the moment.)

"

Snippet *2

Trickling down the murky windows,

water seeping through cracks

On the surface. Pores materials filled

By an avalanche of blue droplets.

Buckets load, England’s always like this,

A day’s labour just trickles away.

Author's Note

John Morris
This is meant to symbolise the way the labour party is filling our lives with rain. Britan's typical weather. the rain is plentiful of ideas in no short supply but it all just trickles away; failing eacg time. Yet, it gets into everyone's lives and gets into anyone's problems 'pores'

This was excellent. Truly.
Though, if I may say, you stole my rain rant idea! only joking, though I was intending to moan a little about the rain (though, I can't exactly compare my standard to yours)
I live in England you see, and this past week, I can confirm, has been sh*t (weather wise) Welcome to England. Can't wait till half term.
ANYWAY. sorry, just rambling on. This was great, excellent write.

Yes, rain has a way of doing this, and so does the government - though I do not live in Britain, I am somewhat aware of some of the "rubbish" that happens, as it does in most every country.
A lot said in a few lines.....

I like it. It's great that you can liken a very common thing(rain) with something government related! I can't do that. Great read.
