I just wanna thank everyone who listened to "Chaos," it really means the world to me. Jacob and I are re-releasing our first song. It's called "I'm Not Here." As always, I''d be super appreciative and thankful if you guys would once again indulge me and have a listen. Once again, I did the music, Jacob did the lyrics and vocals. Thanks so much!
The lyrics, by Jacob Ansari
I'm not here
The real ain't clear
Oh what can I do
To be me and you
This all ain't true
Sobriety from society is all i can do
I'm not here
The real ain't clear
Ain't clear
Stay here
To tears
No fear
Go peer
In here
Sin veers
To sear
Flesh
My dear
Best
Go near
Test
That fear
There is no fear
I'm not here
There is no fear
I'm not here
I'm not here
This fabric
Its manic
No panic
Just tragic
Rust magic
Metallic
Lithium
The idiom
Elysium
Death numb
Breath done
Rest none
Best run
To sun
Burn some
Learn puns
To fit in
The lit tin
Hearts depart from start
Torn apart
Sworn depart
This life confines the lies and ties to define signs
Unfortunately I have no ear for music or skill with instruments either. I was the kind of Gal that faked playing the recorder in classes because I simply had no ear for the sound. I will say the music and lyrics merge together quite well to me and the lyrics certainly have a layer of rhyming complexity difficult to capture. I enjoyed the ‘sobriety from society’ snippet. Something we all need at times. Well done on your shared composition, John.

Jacob is a very talented and intense kid, it's a joy to work with him, and I think he's quite the poet himself... Extraordinary changes of emotion within the music and words: first time compulsion to listen again. Third time, had to stop, too much but know that was positive rather than.. because the lyrics did what was intended.. at least for the singer, lyricist and all. The emotions therein are quite 'something' - silence defying = needing to be heard, noticed and - were

Dear Jonh Sullivan, um, it is really a word of puns that you mention.
Grant it, my interpretation, is that the character feared, and now wilt's it to cry
to fear, the world within the mind is chaos. Lithium, the world of psychosis,
the seclusion to sobriety, ingenious, great writ, ----Maynard James Keenan
I think you pair have got something a little bit special .. almost early Floydish so can't be a bad thing ..

I think you will go far .. just stick at it .. please :)
I love how the pace picks up and then fades away...
Good to see the video John , it all adds to the atmopshere.
Sort of frantic and then it all slows down to normality ..

I'm reminded of Pink Floyd's "Is anybody out there?" not that the lyrics are similar but that the feel is similar. Thanks for the share.
