My Secret is small, only a single spec of dust to your eyes.

My Secret is innocent, merely a white shade in your mind.

It is harmless, soft like a feather. 

Yours are earth-shattering: A monumental difference.

Yours, a mountain rooted deep in the earth.

Yours, nothing but umbra.

But this little corn of sand is my world, so I'll keep. 

After all, I do not want to be struck down by it when the storm hits, 

no more than you want to feel the mountain crumble beneath your feet.

Interesting metaphors of the sand v the mountain, I am not sure of the word umbra but I like your bold usage of it. An interesting study in the phenomenon of secret keeping
