One of my greatest privileges.

From the moment you entered my world, you held my heart

I knew that nothing in this life could ever tear us apart

As your tiny finger held tightly to mine

Tears of happiness flowed from my eyes

I held you close, our hearts beat as one

My hopes for you burned as bright as the sun

I promised to love and to care for you like no other

So proud and yet humbled to be blessed as your mother
