We Made it HereA Poem by Queen Extreme of the ImagInation
Will you still love me when I’m old and gray? Will you be there on one of “those” days? It seems we waited forever to get here There were times when it was so close You were so near So close and so far Now we are who we are Husband and wife After nine long years You pursued me I fought you every step of the way Until finally I gave in It was on that warm August day My sister and I were at the tattoo shop Your best bud was there He would not let us leave You came in and swept me off my feet We did not care about our audience We finally had the chance After so many years we meet It took one look One stolen moment Now here we are Living for the moment Seizing the day Here we are together Facing the fear Together until death For many long years © 2009 Queen Extreme of the ImagInationReviews
