A Song to be Sung to the Tune of "My Favorite Things"

Santa is sleighing and reindeer are winging

Candles are glowing and carolers singing

Laughter and joy in glad greetings we hear

Christmas brings people together each year.

Fresh cookies baking and eggnog for nipping

Church bells and kids' yells and boxes for shipping

Moonlight and mistletoe calling us near

Tinsel is shining and white lights are winking

Children are giggling and eyelids are blinking

Presents are waiting for friends who are dear

Christmas brings people together each year.

When the clerks scowl

When the wind howls

When crowds push and shove

I simply remember my family's home

And then my heart glows with love!
