Hi Joyce. A beautiful write and presentation on the subject of poetry that is short, concise and succinct. A skillfully crafted Tanka. Perfect syllabic form of 31 syllables or less. Good imagery, flow and tone. Lovely depth of feeling. I can relate. I love short form poetry, and you express that love beautifully in this piece. Good word choice.
