HerA Poem by J. F. CharlestonThere she rides Under the summer sun She can take my breath And I will run She takes hold of me A rope around me A tug and a pull I'm all hers She takes a look at me With a smile I can't see Her eyes full of wonder Waves on a bright blue sea Her silk words Pleasure the ear Many fools unable to hear Only few to comprehend Her love is true Her loyalty as glue I can't deny her I trust I'm sure This woman I adore Cannot come from lore Nor some distant shore Only from Earth's core She's the one I know it to be so This journey only begun Where we do not know
