Changes

Changes

A Poem by J. F. Charleston

What is this day?
What is this time?
Who was I?
Who am I?

Where did this come?
Why did it come?

These changes so sudden
Taken no time
Given no mercy
Just a clock's chime

Nothing is like it was
Remnants of before
Lay all around me
In memories day to day
Just painful lore

She didn't understand
Why I walked
I couldn't conclude
It just came

I can't recognize myself
I don't know who I am
A familiar face
A stranger lingers behind

Nothing is like it was
Remnants of before
Lay all around me
In memories day to day
Just painful lore

Reaching out to know
Silence answering back
What happened to the world?

What is this day?
What is this time?
Who was I?
Who am I?

Made me laugh. I had a few days like in the poetry. Hard day made confuse life. Nice flow of thoughts my friend. I believed every word.
