Angel

Angel

A Poem by J. F. Charleston

One night she walked in
no one's ever seen her before
no one really noticed
but she sure got mine
when she first walked in the door

She sat down next me
flipped her hair over her shoulder
her perfume tickled my nose
a little grin formed on her face
when she noticed my stare
my heart started to race

She had the biggest, most beautiful
oil rich brown eyes I got lost in
her smile blinding me like the sun
she's got me in her grasp and
a conversation not even begun

An angel walked in my life that night
something completely worth a fight
the only woman who left me speechless
sure hope I'll meet that angel again

I had never came across and story or poem which had defined eyes as a oil rich one. Using those words only said how deep and divine her eyes was. A really rare and a very true combination of words. I liked it.

A woman to make a man speechless. Those are the special women. I like the story and the hope to meet again. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
