Free Ain't So Free

Nothing feels better than to be free

free from chains

free from relationships

free from boundaries

but in reality there's no such thing

There's always a captivator

something to keep a hold

I can't believe I was never told

I feel free, but again I don't

what is wrong?

I got my heart back

a little broke

but I got it back

Wait, there it is

she's left her mark

that will take forever

to fade away

That mark you never see

fires memory artillery

that makes me remember

But I'm fighting my heart

to keep away from another

who might not want anything

I'm my worst enemy

Free ain't so free

there's always going to be something

something to get a hold of you.
