Land of God, Girls, and trucksA Poem by J. F. CharlestonThat's where I live. Where do you?
People look down on my town
like we're uncivilized think we ain't worthy enough well, there's one thing we've got to say We come from the land of the free home of the brave and the land of God, girls, and trucks We drive on dirt roads through mud and water I live out in the sticks and haul my own payloads Where I'm at we work, love, eat and sleep city folks know nothin' of that 'Cause we're from the land of the free home of the brave and land of God, girls, and trucks I've heard of those clubs of those lights and so called women but those aren't real gentleman clubs us real gentlemen hang in pubs 'Cause we're from the land of the free home of the brave and land of God, girls, and trucks We solute our soldiers love our friends and pray to the one and only God 'Cause we're from the land of the free home of the brave and land of God, girls, and trucks 'Cause we're from the land of the free home of the brave and land of God, girls, and trucks 'Cause we're from the land of the free home of the brave and land of God, girls, and trucks © 2013 J.
