Fly With God

Up in the sky
blue and clear
there's a guy
who's flyin' high

He's got eagle's wings
He's dressed in white
so sparkly and bright

I'm down here
reaching for Him
for a pair of wings
so I can fly with Him

I want to fly with God
with my savior and Father
I want to feel the softness
of those puffy, white clouds

He's flyin' overhead
observing His earth
loving His imperfect child
who's on the loose and wild

He's got eagle's wings
He's dressed in white
so sparkly and bright

I'm down here
reaching for Him
for a pair of wings
so I can fly with Him

Up there in the open sky
God is forming a pair of wings
just for you and me
so we can fly

One day, when I'm ready
He'll teach me to fly steady
one day, we'll take flight
up in the open sky
