Friends Are Family

Friends Are Family

A Poem by J. F. Charleston
"

They just are... in a weird way...

"
They are always there
in your times of triumph
and in your times of despair

They are never normal
they are never boring
they are never formal

Friends, the truest
are family to me
it sounds weird
but that's how
it should be

We're brothers
we're sisters
not by blood
but by our bond

They are always there
in your times of triumph
and in your times of despair

If we didn't have them
life would be lame
but we have them
so life is never the same

Friends are just like family
they are the siblings
that you never had

If friends weren't
then what's the point?
friends will always be family
to you and to me
