Because of that Bar FightA Poem by J. F. Charleston
Ever since one bar fight
all the things of my life have turned right around After that fight, I won her heart and she saw who I really was and it drove her crazy (Chorus) Because of that bar fight I got a smoke'n hot woman who's got rich brown eyes and long brown hair that leads me back to the Light and out of great many lies The guy she was with loved to abuse her and leave her, with a scar and bruise I saw it all happen from the moment he struck her until she went down I stood up for her when no one else would (Chorus) When she saw him down, on the pavement she dragged me away and walked me to my truck she asked if I'd drive her home I said "Hell, yeah!", but couldn't believe my luck (Chorus) So tonight, she's on my shoulder, asleep my arm gettin' numb, but to her it's the wool of a sheep (Chorus) Because of that bar fight I've got the woman of my dreams © 2013 J.
