I'm Ready To Love

I'm Ready To Love

A Poem by J. F. Charleston

(Chorus 1)
If a girl, could only see
How much I want to love'm
She wouldn't want to leave
She wouldn't think so
But my love will make her believe

My heart is set on loving
My pocket maybe empty
She shouldn't care
If I can get that giant teddy bear

This old truck I drive
Gets a bit lonelier everyday
It's amazing how I can survive

(Chorus 1)

This broken heart O' mine
Is ready to get back to work
And love you all night long

Your dreams are my dreams
My love is yours
I ain't ever gonna be rich
But shall I love you like I was

So girl
What's your heart tell'n you?
Don't worry I ain't ever gonna stop

(Chorus 2)
My heart is ready
My truck door is open
Why not talk about a win-win?

My momma, deep in the faith
Tells me it's almost my time
To love you with all I've got

( Chorus 2)

Here's an idea
Let's go fish'n
And do some wish'n
On the billions of stars above

(Chorus 1)

(Chorus 2)
