Who Am I Now?

Who Am I Now?

A Poem by J. F. Charleston
"

Who am I?

"

I look upon myself

my ways and look

the old me

and the paths I once took

Somethings changed

but others remained the same

many such desires are now loss

and the many dreams are aranged

I am longing to be loose

longing to be free

from a branch which holds the noose

Who am I?

Am I still the boy I once was?

Am I still the person many people know?

Or am I the one that shall never dare to cry?

I like the poem. With old age. Seem like a fiction story the past. Hard to find the energy and joy of youth. I believe we get wiser. Learn to do new things and if we are lucky. Become smarter. Thank you for the excellent poetry.
