The Musician's Psalm...

The cold metal
around my lips
the clicks of time
waved from a figure

Hands are moist
body temp gaining
 unbreakable concentration
that nerves fight

Sound emits
from a series of valves
music now in flight
so bouncy and light
so moderately bright

Air a necessity
focus to the fullest
overwhelming joy
enhances effects

Notes play scenes in mind
chills and adrenalin
are released

Music is forever played
the player forever focused
rythms forever stay

A musician,
I forever shall be
never will the music
end for me...

I'm glad to hear that, Coyote! I don't think I sing very well on my own. I do agree that someone who can write their own words are lucky. Music is what some of us use to keep going. I keep writing, 'cause I just have to! Music makes it a little easier though. No problem on sharing it.
