Rain...

Rain...

A Poem by J. F. Charleston

Rain...
a little drop
of clear liquid

Everything is sad
she used to be here
everything was great
and nothing seemed bad

All that came from that
was great and then it tumbled down
down into a dark abyss
that keeps falling

She wanted me just to walk
walk away, because she knew
that nothing would be so

The third time is supposed to be
the one where everything comes out right
but it didn't seem so
everything turned on me

The rain comes down
pretty much everyone
has a frown

Cold and bleak
wet and harsh
never to be loved
always to be hated
but there are exceptions

For the ones that walk
down a path as the rain falls
their heads low and smothered in self pity
all evil resides in the streets of cities

When it rains
I'm all alone
letting tears fall forever

Rain...

my favorite lines (;
And the message is well implied and one thing, when rain falls it hide tears very well (:

The rain allowed us to fall into deep sadness. I like the story in the poem. Three times failing in love leave you wishing for a escape. Thank you for sharing the excellent poem.
