A Piece of Hay in a Needle Stack

A Piece of Hay in a Needle Stack

A Poem by J. F. Charleston
"

How the journey for love is...

"
All the time
I can feel frustration
and hopelessness
because I'm looking for
the piece of hay in a needle stack

Every move I make
it pokes and stabs
everywhere, even my heart
like a bunch of needles

I'm on the journey that seems impossible
the one that takes
everlasting determination
and faith in the Lord

I'm just looking for the piece of hay
inside a needle stack
many people mistake it
for the needle in the hay stack
it makes me want to
give'm a whack
in the head

The only thing worth the pain
a love in a hurtful world
she could be so close to you
she could be the one that you see in the rain

Of course many claim it's hard
but have they ever done it

There's no map
no compass or tool
just chance and the stars
just forget about those scars
just focus on the one
who's in the needle stack

I'm just looking for
the piece of hay in the needle stack.

This is a really great write, iknow the feeling of everytime you feel like you do something you just get stabbed, even sending a text it seems everything I do I mess up, the slightest things hurt the deepest. Your searching for one tiny thing in a big world, that's like counting every grain of sand or every star.
