The Cowboy Hat...A Poem by J. F. Charleston
The cowboy hat.
A western symbol and passed on from a pa to a son Worn by ranchers and farmers outlaws and lawmen It comes in various sizes and colors but the shape remains the same and keeps its name A tool and a accessory worn by blacksmiths and politicians gunslingers and peacemakers The greatest thing ever invented It was there at my cousin's wedding and my first high school dance where it was a pleasure to wear The cowboy hat will never die when it comes my time you can bet a cowboy hat will be with me I guaranty you that. © 2013 J.
